PTFE encapsulated temperature probes combine the outstanding properties of PTFE with the accuracy and reliability of platinum resistance and thermocouple thermometry.

Platinum Resistance Probes

Standard

Body: All components are fully encapsulated in pure PTFE. The stainless steel core gives rigidity but can be bent.

With push-on ferrule.
Sensor: PRT100 Class A
TCR = 3850 ppm/°C.
Cable: 4-wire,  2 red, 2white. PTFE insulated with PFA oversheath. Fused to body.
Termination: 1m lead. Extra cable as required.
Temp. range: -70°C to + 300°C
Response Time: 50%, 6-14sec

Special-Custom

Body: Virtually any shape or configuration
Sensor: PT1000, 1/3-1/10DIN, duplex, etc.
Cable: 2 and 3-wire, screened

Thermocouple Probes

Standard

Body: All components are fully encapsulated in pure PTFE. The stainless steel core gives rigidity but can be bent.

With push-on ferrule.
Sensor: Type 'K' Thermocouple
Cable: PTFE insulated with PFA oversheath. Cable fused to body.
International colours: Green+ve , White-ve , sheath green
Termination: 1m lead. Extra cable as required
Temp. range: -0°C to + 300°C continuous
-180°C to +300°C short term
Response Time: 50%, 6-14sec

Special-Custom

Body: Virtually any shape or configuration
Sensor: Type 'J' & 'T', multi-sensors, arrays, etc.
Cable: Screened

Total Immersion Probes

Standard

Body: Designed for total immersion, suitable for use in autoclaves and most corrosive liquids
Sensor: PRT100 Class A
