Fitter / Tool Maker Vacancy (Middlesbrough,
Cleveland)
Main
purpose of job:
-
The manufacture and maintenance of
equipment and tooling and facility maintenance.

The achievement of pre-determined
standards or targets for output, quality & safety.

Main tasks
of job:
The key requirements for this role is a
high level of manual engineering skills covering machining, turning,
grinding and CNC.
-
Manufacture, maintenance and repair
of equipment, tooling, jigs & fixtures as instructed and in
accordance with the appropriate guidelines, drawings or
instructions.

Consistently achieve quality targets
as laid out in the Quality Policy.

Communicate all manufacturing issues
to Engineering Manager as soon as they
are identified.
-
Technical advice/resource and general
problem solving.
-
Maintain/ensure a clean and safe
working environment and working practices.
-
The accurate completion of all
necessary documentation in accordance with Good Documentation
Practices.
-
Ensure health & safety policy and
standards are followed, including the correct wearing of the
appropriate PPE.
-
Ensure that all operations and
procedures carried out within the role are in accordance with the
requirements of the Quality Manual.
The above is not an exhaustive list of
duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as
necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the
overall business objectives of the organisation.
Hours of Work are Monday to Thursday, 8am
to 5pm and Fridays 8am to 2pm (40 Hours per week). Excellent rates
of pay.
