High Performance Shaft Guide (for standard taper joints)

HP Shaft Guide, with standard taper ground glass joint.

Can be used with Glass or Metal shaft stirrers.

The composite PTFE/PEEK seal maintains vacuum over a wide temperature range without shedding particles.

Available with or without a moulded-in PTFE/PEEK guide ring located at the end of the taper, this provides a guide to assist alignment of the shaft. 

Also available with NPT Thread.

• Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
• Exceptional chemical resistance.
• Suitable for vacuum (5mmHg) and pressure (3-5psi) applications.
• Maximum recommended speeds: 500rpm (continuous), 800rpm (intermittent).
• Self releasing ring for ease of removal.
• Autoclavable (disassemble parts first).
• Replacement parts available.

Note: PEEK has reduced chemical resistance compared to PTFE and may be affected by acids, phenols and halogen based compounds.
