Tissue Grinder / Homogeniser

Tissue Grinders for the controlled reduction of particle size and to homogenise (homogenize) various types of material, such as tissue, plant, food and soil. Often used within Life Science laboratories for extracting DNA, RNA and protein.

Precision borosilicate glass vessels are available in a range of capacities.

Plungers have a stainless steel shaft (Ø 6.5mm) with a plain or serrated PTFE head.

The clearance between plunger head and vessel is 0.15-0.25mm.

Note: Volumes stated are working volumes with the plunger in place.
